We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Engineer with 10-15 years of experience in performance testing and engineering. The role focuses on evaluating application performance, scalability, and reliability through performance testing, monitoring, profiling, and root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Micro Focus LoadRunner, Dynatrace, Splunk, and performance scripting, along with the ability to lead performance triages and drive issue resolution.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing strategies.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner Performance Center and VuGen.
• Perform scripting using Web HTTP/HTML and Java protocols.
• Monitor and analyze application performance using Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWR reports.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and conduct end-to-end application performance analysis.
• Analyze heap dumps, thread dumps, and system metrics to identify application performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead performance triage sessions to drive resolution.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to optimize application performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10-15 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Micro Focus LoadRunner / Performance Center.
• Mandatory experience with VuGen scripting using Web HTTP/HTML and Java protocols.
• Strong experience with Dynatrace and Splunk for application monitoring and performance analysis.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience analyzing heap dumps, thread dumps, and AWR reports.
• Strong understanding of Java/.NET applications, software development, and application architecture.
• Expertise in identifying performance bottlenecks and analyzing end-to-end web performance metrics.
• Experience with performance monitoring and profiling across Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong requirements gathering, analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
