Job summary

BP PLC's bp energy seeks a Lead Performance Drilling Engineer to optimize ft/day and $/ft across onshore drilling programs. You will collaborate with engineering peers, site teams, and remote operations to drive safe, efficient performance and cost reductions.

The role requires 8+ years as a drilling engineer, a BS in Engineering, and expertise in casing design, directional drilling, hydraulics, and data analytics. Hybrid role based in Houston with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years as a Drilling Engineer with major oil company experience.
• Experience with casing design, directional drilling, hydraulics, torque & drag.
• Strong communication, leadership and safety focus.
