Job summary

2K is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Perforce Helix Core to support, enhance, and optimize our source control infrastructure. This role requires technical leadership, global collaboration, and proactive automation to ensure reliability and security.

You will partner with software development and tools engineering teams, implement IaC, and mentor junior staff while maintaining documentation and driving continuous infrastructure improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a systems engineer.
• Perforce Helix Core administration and optimization experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system performance issues and maintain high availability.
• Automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and version control environments.
• Strong cross-functional communication to share technical insights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize Perforce Helix Core infrastructure for high availability and security.
• Oversee server configurations, triggers, permissions, and multi-tool integrations.
• Architect and implement disaster recovery and data integrity practices.
• Collaborate with development and tools teams to refine synchronization, repository organization, and CI/CD integration.
• Provide high-level support, troubleshooting, and training for developers using Perforce.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system architecture and operational documentation.
• Monitor performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks proactively.
• Drive automation and maintain IaC repositories for version control environments.
