Ladders is seeking a Senior Perception Software Engineer to join a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space, focusing on perception software for embedded, real-time applications and autonomous driving.

The role collaborates with engineers and researchers to deliver perception capabilities on embedded platforms, ensuring reliability, testability and strong performance in a dynamic, innovative environment. Remote-US based; visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience on embedded platforms for real-time applications.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Proficiency in software engineering tools.
• Ability to document requirements and specifications.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Write well‑designed, testable code.
• Integrate perception software components into a fully functional system.
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Document and maintain software functionality.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Perception Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will focus on advancing perception software for embedded, real-time applications within a highly innovative technology environment. You will help integrate software components into a fully functional system while ensuring reliability, testability, and strong performance on embedded platforms. The position partners closely with engineers and researchers to deliver cutting‑edge perception capabilities in an autonomous driving context.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $224,000 – $356,500 annually
