Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Perception Engineer to develop and productize autonomous driving perception solutions. You will lead end-to-end perception modules for online mapping, road layouts, lane structures, and traffic elements, collaborating with data teams to improve robustness and realism.

Required are advanced deep learning skills (PyTorch), strong Python/C++ programming, and 4+ years post-PhD/MS or 8+ years post-BS experience in related fields.

Qualifications

• PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS with 8+ years in a related technical field.
• Hands-on deep learning development and algorithm implementation required.
• Strong Python/C++ programming skills and experience with PyTorch.
• 2+ years of technical leadership is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end perception and AV stack solutions for road network detections across diverse driving environments.
• Develop deep learning models for lane graph construction, road boundary detection, and traffic element recognition.
• Collaborate with data and labeling teams to optimize data value and labeling efficiency.
• Productize perception solutions meeting safety, latency, and robustness requirements.
• Advance data simulation and augmentation to handle extreme scenarios.
• Drive generalizable approaches for diverse ODDs and country/region expansion.
