The role emphasizes real-time C++ processing pipelines, sensor fusion, and validation, with mentoring and cross-functional collaboration. This onsite position supports cutting-edge autonomy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience developing perception systems for autonomous vehicles or robotics.
• Proficiency in C++ (C++11+) and production-grade Linux development.
• Experience with LiDAR, radar, image processing, or sensor fusion.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and DDS messaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of perception algorithms across platforms.
• Architect real-time C++ processing pipelines for detection, classification, tracking, and fusion.
• Define sensor selection criteria, integration standards, and validation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align outputs with autonomy architecture.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of perception algorithms for LiDAR, radar, camera, and sensor fusion applications across autonomous platforms.
• Architect real-time C++ processing pipelines for object detection, classification, tracking, and sensor fusion in embedded environments.
• Define sensor selection criteria, integration standards, and validation processes for perception systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure perception outputs align with broader autonomy architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience developing perception systems for autonomous vehicles or robotics platforms.
• Proficiency in C++ (C++11 or newer) and experience building production-grade Linux applications.
• Experience with LiDAR point cloud processing, automotive radar processing, image processing, or sensor fusion.
• Knowledge of Robot Operating System (ROS or ROS2) and messaging architectures like DDS.
