Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities for PeopleSoft Finance implementations, focusing on GL and financial processes.

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft FSCM Technical Lead with strong expertise in PeopleSoft Finance, General Ledger, financial reporting, accounting transactions, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale PeopleSoft Finance implementations, troubleshooting and incident management, technical documentation, and Agile development activities. The candidate must have experience working on large-scale projects and possess public-sector project experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities supporting PeopleSoft Finance implementations, with a focus on General Ledger and related financial processes.
• Support GAAP-based accounting processes, financial reporting dashboards, and accounting transaction reconciliation.
• Define and support key data requirements and interfaces associated with the General Ledger.
• Lead technical troubleshooting and incident management activities, ensuring timely identification and resolution of complex issues.
• Analyze technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution across technical and functional teams.
• Develop and maintain functional and technical requirements, design documents, conceptual diagrams, user guides, and workflow documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, and project leadership to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Lead and coordinate technical activities across large-scale enterprise projects.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience within the last 15 years as a technical lead supporting PeopleSoft Finance implementations.
• Strong PeopleSoft FSCM experience with PeopleSoft Finance and General Ledger.
• Experience with GAAP-based accounting principles, financial reporting dashboards, and accounting transaction reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of the key data required for General Ledger interfaces.
• Experience working on large-scale projects supporting at least 5,000 system users and projects with a total cost of at least $20 million.
• At least 2 years of experience working on public-sector projects, excluding State, Local/City/County/Province, and Federal Government projects.
• 3+ years of experience within the last 15 years leading technical troubleshooting and incident management processes.
• 3+ years of experience within the last 15 years creating technical documentation, including functional and technical requirements, design documents, conceptual diagrams, user guides, and workflow processes.
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Finance architecture, integrations, interfaces, and financial data flows.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field, or equivalent qualifying experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 8 years of qualifying PeopleSoft Financials technical lead experience within the past 15 years.
• 3+ years of experience within the last 15 years leading Agile development activities.
• Experience with sprint planning and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience documenting functional specifications and acceptance criteria in User Stories.
• Experience planning and leading functional, user acceptance, and regression testing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex PeopleSoft FSCM implementations.
