Kastech Software Solutions Group is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Financials Technical/Functional Analyst – GL & Commitment Control for our Columbus, Ohio area team. The role emphasizes GL/KK configuration, cross‑module integration, and advanced PeopleSoft technical capability.

You will collaborate with functional teams, conduct design discussions, and guide technical solutions while providing production support and lifecycle testing across PeopleSoft modules.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 GL & Commitment Control.
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and upgrade conflicts.
• Experience with cross‑module integration (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, Travel & Expense).
• Experience with PeopleSoft architectures and external applications.
• Proficiency in applying and troubleshooting AE programs and PeopleCode.

Responsibilities

• Deep expertise in GL and KK configuration, budgets, and processing workflows.
• Provide advanced technical support while functioning with a primarily functional team.
• Analyze integration touchpoints across modules and external systems.
• Participate in production support: triage, defects, incident management.
• Contribute to lifecycle testing: vouchering, purchasing, GL postings, AR processing.
• Lead functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs.
• Create inbound/outbound interface files with banking/external systems.

Role: Senior PeopleSoft Financials Technical/Functional Analyst – GL & Commitment Control

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: Long-term

Key Responsibilitie

• Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, specifically within General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK), including deep understanding of ledger configurations, budget structures, and transactional processing framework
• This resource will work on the functional team; however, advanced technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting is require
• Comprehensive knowledge of cross‑module integration points, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense with emphasis on interdependency workflows and integration touchpoint
• Experience with PeopleSoft architectures with external application
• Experience working with PeopleSoft application engine
• Proficient using Application Designe
• Experience analyzing PeopleCode, AE programs, and other technical objects to identify root causes, customizations, retrofitting needs, and upgrade conflicts
• Proficiency in People Tools, Integration Broker, web services and REST and SOAP API integration
• Project management experience paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including leading functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs
• Knowledge of SOA and other file transfer technologie
• Experience creating custom inbound and outbound interface files with banking and other external system
• Knowledge with PeopleSoft tables and structures for research and analyst
• Experience with production support, including issue triage, defect resolution and incident managemen
• Comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing experience (i.e., vouchering, purchasing, GL journal posting, accounts receivable processing), including deep knowledge of test sequencing, data staging, and end‑to‑end business process validatio
• Experience writing enhancement documentation which includes and not limited to requirements gathering, business analyst, configuration, identifying tables and code changes, test conditions, business risks, and alternative option
• Experience with a large Government enterprise solution is desire
