Job summary

Experis is seeking a PeopleSoft Application Developer for a 2-year on-site engagement in Albany, NY. The role requires extensive experience with PeopleSoft, SQL, and integration with related technologies such as Oracle DB, Linux, and APEX.

Candidates should be prepared for a 40-hour work week, 7 a.m.–5 p.m., and occasional extended hours, with on-site work four days per pay period and monthly in-person team meetings.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of application development experience with PeopleSoft using at least three of the following toolsets: XML, PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PSQuery, Data Mover, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
• Six or more years of experience in using SQL over PeopleSoft Data Structures.
• Four or more years of experience in using PeopleTools 8.57 and higher.
• Four or more years of experience conceptualizing and transforming business requirements into design documents with associated test plans and documentation.
• Three or more years of experience developing collaborative solutions and troubleshooting issues between functional and technical teams.
• Three or more years of experience providing knowledge transfer on new technologies and/or the developed application to other application developers.
• Two or more years of experience developing solutions in APEX Version 20.1 or higher

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to business problems described in requirements and specifications
• Analyze system defects and present proposed solutions and workarounds
• Communicate effectively with business analysts and various technical staff
• Recommend and implement system architecture improvements
• Design system changes with consultation from other groups including, but not limited to: Secure file transport, Server Administration, Database Administration, Scheduling, Security
• Validate system functionality after infrastructure upgrades and resolve any observed issues
• Perform other duties as assigned
