Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst specializing in PeopleSoft AP, Purchasing, and Procurement to optimize Procure-to-Pay processes. You will partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and resolve complex issues.

The role requires deep functional expertise in PeopleSoft modules, system configurations, integrations, and data flow to the GL, with a focus on accuracy, controls, and process improvement across end-to-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Significant functional experience supporting PeopleSoft Procurement/Purchasing and AP.
• Knowledge of procure-to-pay processes and voucher/payments.
• Understanding data flow between Procure, AP and GL.
• Experience with testing, deployments, and post-implementation support.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the functional SME for PeopleSoft Procurement/Purchasing and AP.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and configurations.
• Support end-to-end procure-to-pay processes including vouchers and payments.
• Configure PeopleSoft components, suppliers, PO controls, and workflows.
• Monitor exceptions and reconcile AP/Procurement with GL.
• Lead testing, UAT, and deployment activities with technical teams.
• Create process docs, user guides, and training materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, automation, and data quality.
