Job summary

IMCS Group is seeking a Senior PEO Consultant to lead SAP S/4HANA PEO projects in Columbus, OH. You will own end-to-end configuration, testing, and deployment, while coordinating with PLM/PDM, MES, and shop-floor systems.

The role requires deep expertise in discrete manufacturing, BOM handling, and Change Management, with a focus on delivering robust engineering changes and seamless system integration. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience including at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation.
• Hands-on SAP PEO configuration covering BOM handling and EBOM-to-MBOM handover using VEMP.
• Strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing for complex assemblies and manufacturing master data.
• Experience integrating PLM/PDM with SAP S/4HANA.
• Working knowledge of SAP PP, PP/DS, and QM.
• Engineering Change Management and Change Impact Analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA PEO implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements with client stakeholders.
• Design solutions for complex discrete manufacturing processes and EBOM/MBOM conversions.
• Configure and support EOM, change records, and impact analysis.
• Ensure integration of PEO with SAP PP/PP-DS/QM, PLM/PDM, MES and shop-floor systems.
• Develop functional specs, docs, test scenarios, and deployment artifacts.
• Support system integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.
• Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions and knowledge transfer.
• Promote governance and industry-standard best practices.

Job Title: Senior PEO Consultant

Location: Columbus, OH 43219

Duration: 6+ months contract

• 10+ years of relevant SAP experience, including at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Hands-on SAP PEO configuration experience covering BOM handling, EBOM-to-MBOM handover using Visual Enterprise Manufacturing Planner (VEMP), shop floor routings, production models, and production versions.
• Strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing for complex assemblies, manufacturing master data, digital thread concepts, and PLM integration.
• Experience integrating engineering systems such as PLM and PDM with SAP S/4HANA.
• Working knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Quality Management (QM).
• Experience with Engineering Change Management, change records, and Change Impact Analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP MII, SAP ME, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, Teamcenter, or Windchill is preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, high-tech manufacturing, medical devices, or another regulated manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Lead SAP S/4HANA PEO implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Design solutions for complex discrete manufacturing processes, including engineering handover, EBOM-to-MBOM conversion, shop floor routings, production models, work instructions, and production execution.
• Configure and support Engineering Change Management, change records, and Change Impact Analysis.
• Ensure seamless integration of PEO with SAP PP, PP/DS, QM, PLM/PDM platforms, MES, and shop floor systems.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA PEO engineering and manufacturing execution capabilities.
• Manage assigned project timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and resources to support successful completion.
• Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and deployment artifacts.
• Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions and knowledge transfer for business and support teams.
• Promote compliance with industry standards, implementation best practices, and solution governance.
• Travel domestically and internationally at least 30%, based on project needs.
