Job summary

Praescient Analytics in Arlington, VA seeks a skilled Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team supporting DoW's CDAO War Data Platform. You will conduct comprehensive tests across applications, networks, and hybrid-cloud environments to identify and help remediate vulnerabilities, strengthening the platform's security posture.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, at least 8 years in offensive security, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on offensive security/penetration testing.
• Deep familiarity with OWASP Top 10, cloud security, networking, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Must possess at least one of the listed certifications (see required and preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration tests including network, web app, and social engineering assessments.
• Evaluate system risk and document findings with actionable remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with network engineering, software development, and AI engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to evolving internal testing methodologies and tools.
• Share threat intelligence insights and identify defensive gaps from assessments.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and bypass techniques to improve testing capabilities.
