Job summary

Egis BLN USA Inc. (Egis U.S.) is seeking an experienced Construction Inspection Project Supervisor/Resident Project Representative to provide inspection services on IDPW and INDOT projects in central Indiana.

The role requires oversight of road and bridge construction and liaison among owner, engineer, and contractor. Responsibilities include monitoring conformity to plans, keeping daily progress records, coordinating meetings, and handling submittals and documentation with a focus on quality

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience on locally or federally funded road/bridge projects.
• INDOT Certified Technician Program completed.
• Current with INDOT Testing Proficiencies or able to update.
• Experience with Site Manager Program and DPW CIP.
• Knowledge of bridge and road construction processes.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction of road, bridge, storm sewer, drainage, water and sanitary sewer projects as site representative.
• Verify conformance with plans and specifications.
• Maintain a daily record of work and attend progress meetings.
• Act as liaison between owner, engineer and contractor.
• Maintain shop drawings and submittals; perform testing as needed.
• Review pay estimates and final construction documentation.

Egis US is actively seeking an experienced Construction Inspection Project Supervisor/Resident Project Representative to provide inspection services on locally, federally funded IDPW and INDOT road and bridge projects in the Central part of Indiana.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Observe the construction of road, bridge, storm sewer, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, and other public construction projects as the site representative
• Verify conformance with construction plans and specifications
• Maintain a daily record of work

• Act as a liaison between owner, engineer, and contractor

• Review pay estimates and final construction documentation

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience with locally or federally funded road and/or bridge projects for a government agency or consulting engineering firm.
• Successfully completed the INDOT Certified Technician Program.
• Current with or can easily be brought current with the INDOT Testing Proficiencies.
• Experience with Site Manager Program and DPW CIP
• Familiar with all aspects of bridge and road construction.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
