Job summary

Denali Family Services is seeking a Peer Support Specialist Supervisor to oversee a team of peer support specialists, coordinate TIP programming, and maintain a field-based supervision model. You will ensure adherence to HIPAA privacy standards and collaborate across agencies to support youth and families in a range of settings.

The role requires leading 4–8 staff, scheduling, and providing ongoing coaching while maintaining program quality and outcomes in Wasilla and Anchorage.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or related field.
• Two years professional experience in family and children’s services.
• One year of supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 4-8 Peer Support Specialists in Wasilla and Anchorage.
• Assign, allocate and supervise job duties of Peer Support Specialists.
• Provide peer support services to a small caseload of youth.
• Provide weekly supervision with each PSS, recognizing strengths and guiding skill development.
• Field-based supervision with PSS; document observations and discuss improvements.
• Maintain weekly Peer Support Specialist schedule and adjust as needed.
• Facilitate staff referrals and assess fit for services.
• Co-plan TIP events and co-lead activities as needed.
• Lead performance evaluations and disciplinary steps with approval.
• Promote interagency collaboration regarding peer support services.
