Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist for the Peabody and Lexington sites. The candidate will evaluate and treat a broad range of pediatric communication disorders and differences in an outpatient setting.

The role requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current Massachusetts license, and ASHA CCC. Five years of specialized pediatric clinical experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• 5 years’ progressively responsible and specialized clinical experience with pediatric speech programs within a clinical service.
• Massachusetts state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist and ASHA CCC.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment and treatment of pediatric communication disorders in outpatient settings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using standardized tests and clinical tools.
• Provide parent/caregiver education and counseling on diagnoses, progress and referrals.
• Document evaluation reports, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with other speech language pathologists, physicians, and healthcare/educational professionals.
