Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital’s Speech Language Pathology Program is seeking a full-time ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist for our Peabody and Lexington sites. The appropriate candidate has experience in evaluation and treatment of a broad range of pediatric communication disorders and differences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• 5 years of progressively responsible clinical experience in pediatric speech programs preferred.
• Massachusetts state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (licensure) and ASHA CCC required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive outpatient assessment and treatment of pediatric communication disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and use appropriate tools.
• Provide education and counseling to parents/caregivers.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians, SLPs, and other health/educational professionals.
• Participate in program development and continuing education.
• Attend program meetings and projects as assigned.
