Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a visionary leader to shape inpatient pediatric clinical pharmacy services in Minnesota. You will guide an experienced team, strengthen programs, and partner with physicians, nursing, and leaders to advance safety, quality, and outcomes.

You will drive Epic transition efforts, develop data strategies, and create dashboards to demonstrate value while advancing growth and innovation across the system.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• 5+ years of inpatient pediatric pharmacy experience with strong clinical expertise.
• Current Minnesota pharmacist license or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience and coaching ability.
• Approximately 3 years of leadership/management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in inpatient health-system pharmacy essential.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and leaders.
• Ability to navigate change and align evolving practice models.
• PGY1/PGY2 residency in pediatrics preferred.
• Advanced leadership or business training (MS or MBA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for inpatient pediatric clinical pharmacy services across the system.
• Lead and support a team of 15–20 pharmacy professionals.
• Evaluate current practice models and identify opportunities to optimize services.
• Develop and implement clinical pharmacy strategies based on patient needs and quality outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for growth in perioperative services, medication reconciliation, antimicrobial stewardship, and behavioral health.
• Partner with physicians and nursing on safety, formulary management, and therapeutics.
• Play a leadership role in Epic transition, including data strategies and dashboards.
• Drive quality improvement, innovation, and research to improve outcomes and value-based care.
• Represent clinical pharmacy on multidisciplinary committees and initiatives.
• Lead change within the team to maximize pharmacy value.
