Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is seeking an accomplished private equity fund accounting leader to direct end‑to‑end operations across multiple vintages and fund structures. You will own the platform, processes, people, and client service, delivering accurate financial reporting and investor servicing at scale.

Qualifications

14+ years in private equity fund accounting or alternatives.
Experience leading multi-fund portfolios and complex structures (multi-currency, feeders, parallel funds, SPVs).
Deep knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, ASC 946/820, waterfall mechanics, carried interest, and fees.

Responsibilities

Close funds monthly/quarterly; deliver financial statements and investor reporting with high accuracy.
Oversee capital calls, distributions, true-ups, equalizations, and side letter economics; ensure timely investor communications.
Coordinate valuations and waterfalls; manage regulatory compliance and tax packs; collaborate with tax teams.
