Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital seeks a Senior PDC Project Manager to lead design and construction initiatives for value-driven projects serving internal customers. You will oversee scope, budgets and schedules, coordinate engineering studies, and ensure project deliverables meet functional needs onsite in Springdale.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience (or 8 years if no degree) and typically a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study is recommended.
  • Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) - ASHE recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design and construction process to ensure best value projects for internal customers.
  • Coordinates engineering and feasibility studies as needed based on the project.
  • Develops and manages project budgets and schedules.
  • Ensures project team coordination to achieve scope, schedule and budget.
  • Provides value analysis ideas throughout the design and construction process.
  • Ensures projects meet client’s functional and operational needs.
  • Accounts for all project communication between customers and project team.
  • Establishes alliances with other departments and organizations to assess partnerships.
  • Understands and administers AC Project Management Process.
  • Attends all planning and design meetings and participates in problem solving.
  • Reviews project design documents for accuracy and completeness including stakeholder feedback.
  • Develops, monitors and is accountable for project budgets and schedules.
  • Ensures adherence to project drawings and specifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
