Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a Senior PDC Project Manager to lead the design and construction process for value-driven internal projects located on site. The role focuses on coordinating engineering studies and managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications to ensure client needs are met.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience (or 8 years without a diploma) and recommends a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with CHC

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design and construction process to ensure best-value projects for internal customers.
  • Coordinates engineering and feasibility studies as needed for the project(s).
  • Develops and manages project budgets and schedules.
  • Ensures project team coordination to meet scope, schedule and budget.
  • Provides value analysis ideas throughout design and construction.
  • Ensures the project meets client functional and operational needs.
  • Manages project communications between customers and project team.
  • Establishes alliances with other departments and organizations to assess partnerships.

  • 1. Leads the design and construction process to ensure that best value projects are developed for internal customers.

  • 3. Develops and manages project(s) budget and schedule.
  • 4. Ensures project team coordination to achieve project(s) scope, schedule and budget.
  • 5. Provides value analysis ideas throughout the design and construction process
  • 6. Ensures that the project(s) meets client's functional and operational needs.
  • 7. Accountable for all project communication between customers and project team.
  • 8. Establishes alliances with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies in order to assess potential partnership and commitment to the program.
  • 9. Understands and administers AC Project Management Process.
  • 10. Attends all planning and design meetings and participate in problem solving.
  • 11. Reviews project(s) design documents for accuracy and completeness including feedback from key stakeholders.
  • 12. Develops, monitors and is accountable for project(s) budget and schedule.
  • 13. Ensures adherence to project(s) drawings and specifications.
  • 14. Performs other duties as assigned.
