Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior PCIe Gen6/Gen7 Functional Post-Silicon Validation Engineer to lead the functional validation of next-generation PCIe Switch and Retimer silicon. This role requires expertise in validating LTSSM behavior and link training, along with professional experience in Python automation. Candidates should possess at least 7 years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of PCIe silicon validation processes. This is a contract position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Hands-on experience debugging link training issues and transaction layer bugs.
• Proven expertise in functional validation test plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-silicon bring-up and functional validation of PCIe devices.
• Develop and execute detailed functional validation test plans.
• Validate multi-port and multi-host switch configurations.

Skills

Hands-on debugging of LTSSM failures

Experience validating PCIe Switch or Retimer silicon

Deep knowledge of TLP/DLLP

Professional experience with Python automation
