Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. PCBA Manufacturing Test Engineer to deploy and qualify test systems at CM sites for Satellite PCBAs. You will lead debugging, create runbooks, and train CM personnel while interfacing with internal test teams and suppliers.

The role requires strong PCB test expertise, Linux scripting, and experience with RF and ICT fixtures, with travel up to 50% and a path toward improving test throughput and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years deploying, using, and training on complex test systems including RF tests, ICT/bed-of-nails, and Flying Probe.
• 8+ years integrating software and hardware systems.
• 8+ years’ experience with standard electronic lab test equipment to debug PCBAs.
• Ability to write detailed test station operating procedures.
• Ability to create deployment/capacity plans for multiple testers at multiple CMs.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and optimize test setup/processes at CM sites.
• Perform PCBA debug and root-cause failure analysis at CM sites; create runbooks and train technicians.
• Collaborate with R&D and Test Development to improve test systems and throughput.
• Analyze data to identify failure trends and recommend improvements.
• Develop procedures and documentation for test operators; train operators.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
