TK Elevator in Olive Branch, MS is seeking an experienced Board Repair Technician III to repair a broad spectrum of industrial control circuit boards to the component level, using varied methodologies and collaborating with the VVVF drive team.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, soldering and test procedures, reading schematics, and commitment to safety; eligible candidates have 2-year electronics training and 5+ years' experience. TK Elevator offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-year electronics program preferred (college, trade school, or military).
• 5+ years troubleshooting analog and digital circuit boards to component level.
• Ability to read and follow schematic diagrams.
• Ability to interpret component data specifications for circuits.
• Soldering/desoldering on multi-layer boards (through-hole & surface mount).
• Desire to develop new skills and improve existing ones.
• Experience troubleshooting logic & microprocessor circuits.
• Experience troubleshooting without schematics using established procedures.
• Proficiency with computer tech, internet, and MS Office applications.
• Understanding of 3-phase power and high-current components.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair analog and digital circuits to component level.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators and other test equipment.
• Read and follow board and system level schematics for analog and digital circuits.
• Interpret datasheets and apply them to circuit operation and diagnostics.
• Perform fine pitch soldering/desoldering (through-hole and surface mount).
• Document signal readings and test results to aid development and memory.
• Follow documented test procedures with minimal oversight.
• Create/test strategies for undocumented PCB assemblies.
• Maintain productivity without compromising quality or warranty.
