Job summary

CPI Electron Device Business in Beverly, MA is seeking an in-process PCB inspector to support solder workmanship and measurements in a Class 100,000 cleanroom. You will communicate with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve non-conformances and maintain inspection logs, while using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610, and experience with revision-controlled drawings and ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 is a must.
• MIL-STD-883, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and current certifications a plus.
• Experience with revision-controlled drawings and ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• In-process visual inspection of solder workmanship on PCB assemblies using a microscope.
• Communicate with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve non-conformance issues.
• Data collection of inspection log sheets and maintenance of tracking spreadsheets.
• Provide technical guidance using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
