Job summary

Next Matter is seeking a PCB Layout Engineer to lead the layout and release of avionics PCBs for hypersonic missile systems. You will independently own the PCB layout process, from initial placement to fabrication, ensuring adherence to IPC Class 3/3A standards. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in PCB layout, proficiency in Altium, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• 5 – 8+ years of experience in PCB layout and electronics hardware development.
• Strong proficiency with Altium or equivalent professional PCB layout tools.
• Proven experience taking complex PCBs from concept through production release.

Responsibilities

• Own PCB layout from initial placement through fabrication and assembly release.
• Drive component placement, stack-up definition, and routing strategy.
• Lead PCB DFM/DFA reviews with vendors; close manufacturing issues.
