Job summary

Graphcore in Austin, Texas is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Layout Engineer to maintain component libraries and develop PCB layouts in collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers, procurement and NPI for production readiness.

You will validate pin assignments, land patterns and library attributes, develop layouts from approved schematics, and prepare Gerber/ODB++ files while coordinating with fabricators to resolve questions and ensure manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up PCB design and electronic component libraries.
• Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with PCB fabrication, assembly processes and DFM.

Responsibilities

• Create, verify, and maintain schematic symbols, PCB footprints and 3D models.
• Validate pin assignments, land patterns and library attributes against docs.
• Develop PCB layouts from schematics including placement and routing.
• Run design rule checks and participate in reviews.
