Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent training.
• 6–8 years of PCB design experience, including hybrid circuits and discrete-component PCBs.
• Extensive experience with high-speed, high-density, multilayer layouts.
• SolidWorks proficiency for electronics packaging, 3D parts and assemblies, mechanical drawings, and PCB-to-enclosure fit/checks.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and ability to produce manufacturable designs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro X 24.1, Cadence OrCAD X 24.1, Pentalogix Viewmate Pro, and BluePrint PCB.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed, high-density, multilayer PCBs and hybrid circuits from placement and routing through final release.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to resolve layout issues.
• Use SolidWorks to support electronics packaging, including PCB outlines, enclosures, and connector locations.
• Create and update 3D models and mechanical drawings; verify fit and clearances.
• Prepare PCB fabrication and assembly drawings and Gerber files for accuracy.
• Work with suppliers and Purchasing to apply fabrication guidelines and resolve questions.
