Job summary

L3Harris in San Diego, CA, seeks a PCB Designer to create and validate HDI PCB layouts using Mentor PADS and Expedition. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve fabrication and test issues, and mentor junior designers.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years (or 4 years with a graduate degree) of related experience; 10 years without a degree is also acceptable. On-site schedule applies in CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree reduces experience requirement to 4 years.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with HDI PCB designs and high-density layouts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, review, and validate PCB designs for rigid, flexible, and rigid-flex boards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve fabrication, assembly, and test issues.
• Mentor junior PCB designers and respond to supplier technical questions.
