Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer specializing in Printed Circuit Board Design in San Diego, CA. You will design, review, and validate HDI PCB layouts using Mentor PADS/Expedition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience or Graduate Degree with 7+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools and HDI technologies is required.

Responsibilities

• Use Mentor PADS/Expedition to design and revise HDI PCB layouts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to resolve fabrication and test issues.
• Create stack ups and model-controlled impedance for PCB designs.
• Lead the assessment and implementation of new PCB design software.
• Mentor less experienced PCB Designers and perform peer reviews.
• Develop and document best practices, templates, and procedures.
