Job summary

Garmin in Cary, NC is seeking a full-time PCB Integration Engineer to advance PCB and FPC technologies and their adoption across products. You will bridge design teams and PCB suppliers to ensure robust integration, validation, and manufacturability.

You will lead bring-up, work with suppliers, define component requirements, support design reviews, and help drive yield and reliability during production ramp. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/CE/Physics or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in architecture, integration, validation and troubleshooting of hardware component technologies.
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces, electrical requirements, communication protocols, control signals and integration constraints.
• Experience characterizing component performance across operating conditions to meet technical and business requirements.
• Knowledge of power, thermal and signal integrity and their impact on system performance.
• Proven ability to work across electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, quality, supplier and program teams.
• Experience providing supplier technical leadership to improve product quality, manufacturability and innovation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB Bring Up and Integration initiatives for PCBs, FPCs, and miniaturization.
• Act as main technical interface between Garmin engineers and component vendors and review specs.
• Collaborate with design, electrical, mechanical and product teams for robust integration.
• Drive validation, production ramp support and yield improvements.
