Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, CE or related field with ≥5 years hardware experience.
  • Expertise in architecture, integration, validation and troubleshooting of a hardware domain.
  • Knowledge of hardware interfaces, electrical requirements and protocols.
  • Experience characterizing component performance across operating conditions.
  • Understanding of power, thermal, and signal integrity considerations.
  • Ability to collaborate across electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, quality, supplier and program teams.
  • Experience leading supplier technical activities to improve product quality and manufacturability.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and influence skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead PCB and FPC bring-up, integration, and manufacturing improvements.
  • Serve as primary interface between Garmin design teams and component vendors.
  • Collaborate with design, mechanical, and product teams to ensure robust integration.
  • Support production ramp, yield improvements, and travel as needed.
