Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Senior PCB Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and validation of microcontroller-based PCBs and industrial control panels. The role focuses on new product development and redesigns to combat obsolescence, coordinating with firmware, applications, sales, and production teams.

The candidate should have 5+ years in electronics-based product development, hands-on experience with Altium Designer, and strong knowledge of power electronics

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in electronics-based product development.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Willing to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Participate in New Product Development (NPD) teams to deliver complex products.
• Develop system architectures, requirements, and specifications for new and redesigned products.
• Design, develop, test, and validate microcontroller-based PCBs.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers to design and test embedded software.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and support existing products.
• Assess designs for cost efficiency and reliability and address obsolescence.
