Banner Engineering Corp seeks an experienced PCB Design Engineer for its Plymouth, MN location. The role focuses on PCB layout, verification, and library maintenance in a full-time, in-office setting.

You will work with cross-functional teams to meet design requirements and deliver high-quality PCB solutions. The position requires a degree in Electronics and 5+ years using PCB design tools like Mentor Graphics Xpedition, with strong IPC knowledge and experience in multilayer/HDI designs.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Electronics or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience with a PCB design software package (Mentor Graphics Xpedition preferred).
• Familiar with IPC specifications related to PCB manufacturing.
• Experience with multilayer, rigid/flex PCBs and HDI technologies.
• Experience with PLM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and redesign PCBs from schematics and requirements.
• Create drawings, Gerber files, and documentation for fabrication and verification.
• Collaborate with Designers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on changes.
• Mentor and guide junior PCB Designers and improve design processes.
