Job summary

Advanced Energy in Fort Collins, CO, seeks a Senior PCB Designer to design and draft high-density printed circuit boards and serve as a technical resource through product development. You will use ECAD tools to prepare schematics, layouts and documentation, while supporting DFM and manufacturability goals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of PCB design experience, expertise with Altium Designer, and strong knowledge of high-voltage, high-current power electronics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics Technology or related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of PCB design experience.
• Experience with high-voltage/high-power PCB layouts.

Responsibilities

• Place components and route tracks meeting PCB electrical and mechanical specs.
• Create PCB designs and engage manufacturing for DFM improvements.
• Create schematics, layouts, fabrication deliverables and documentation.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical and Firmware Engineers and respond to changes.
• Participate in process improvement for the PCB design team.
