Job summary

PYRRHUS seeks an Electrical Engineer to own PCB design for the LADRS system, from schematic capture to fabrication, assembly, and test. You will design both analog and digital circuits and perform hands-on bring-up and debugging on the bench, collaborating with firmware and mechanical teams.

You will design for manufacturability and assembly, work with PCB vendors, and develop test procedures for validation, while contributing to RF module integration and system-level integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PCB design shipped to production including assembly and test.
• Strong fundamentals in analog and digital circuit design.
• Working knowledge of RF communication techniques: FSK, LoRa, modulation/encoding.
• Hands-on lab experience—soldering, rework, debugging hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own the PCB layouts.
• Design analog and digital circuits for sensors and payload electronics.
• Design for manufacturability and design for assembly for production builds.
• Coordinate with PCB fabrication vendors, perform DFM reviews and issue resolution.
• Develop and run test procedures for board bring-up and validation.
• Integrate RF components and work with modulation schemes.
• Prototype build, rework, and bench debugging.
