Job summary

Experis Technology Group seeks a Senior PCB Design Engineer near San Jose to design schematics and PCB layouts for digital, analog, power, and wireless systems used in consumer electronics. You will lead board bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation, collaborating with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless hardware integration.

You will apply signal integrity, power integrity, EMC/EMI, and reliability analyses, and support prototypes and manufacturing ramp-up.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of extensive experience in hardware board design and PCB engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence, Allegro, OrCAD).
• Strong understanding of digital, analog, wireless, and power electronics and validation practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams.

Select and integrate components such as processors, sensors, memory, power circuits, and connectivity modules. Lead board bring-up, debugging, testing, and performance validation to ensure hardware meets requirements. Collaborate with firmware and software teams to support seamless hardware integration. Perform signal integrity, power integrity, EMC/EMI, and reliability analysis, and support prototype and manufacturing ramp‑up activities.

What’s Needed?

• 5 to 8 years of extensive experience in hardware board design and PCB engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium, Cadence, Allegro, OrCAD, or similar.
