Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer or PCB Engineer to lead the development of advanced phased-array antenna electronics for satellite communications. You will design and validate high-density multilayer PCBs with thousands of components and work with custom silicon devices and high-speed interfaces in a demanding lab environment.

You will own board bring-up, perform power-on tests, verification activities, and debugging, and collaborate with fellow engineers to implement

Qualifications

8+ years of board-level electrical design experience.
Experience with high-speed digital interfaces and multi-gigabit serial communications.
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead bring-up of newly fabricated boards, including power-on testing and debugging.
Plan and execute design verification and validation activities for high-speed digital testing and power characterization.
Collaborate with design engineers to identify issues and implement improvements in future revisions.
Contribute to schematic capture and PCB layout for next-generation hardware designs.
Support downstream integration and testing teams with validated hardware.
