Job summary

Intellian Technologies in Rockville, MD seeks a Senior PCB CAD Engineer to own high-complexity PCB design and architecture, driving HDI stack-ups, component floor-planning, and digital-analog tradeoffs. You will guide schematic ownership, perform deep circuit analysis, and ensure design integrity across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of high-complexity PCB design experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro/OrCAD and PLM systems.
• Expertise in EMI/EMC mitigation and high-speed routing.

Responsibilities

• Advanced PCB Architecture: lead HDI stack-up, via tech, and component floor-planning for flagship products.
• Strategic Schematic Ownership: execute hierarchical captures and deep-dive circuit analysis.
• Design Simulation & Integrity: oversee DRCs and SI/PI analyses for first-pass success.
• CAD Infrastructure & Library Governance: set standards for centralized libraries and PLM integration.
• Automation Lead: develop Python-based automation tools and AI-driven workflows.
• Cross-Functional Synthesis: liaise between Hardware, Mechanical, Antenna, and Firmware teams.
