Senior Electrical CAD Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical CAD Engineer to join a leading global technology organisation at the forefront of advanced communications and connectivity solutions. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design, development, and lifecycle management of complex PCB assemblies, while driving innovation through automation, AI‑enabled workflows, and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HDI PCB stack‑up design, component placement, and multi‑layer board architecture
• Own complex schematic capture and circuit design using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro
• Drive SI/PI analysis, DRC, and cross‑functional design validation
• Define CAD standards, component libraries, and PLM integration
• Develop Python‑based automation and support AI‑driven design workflows
• Collaborate with RF, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve EMI/integration challenges
• Establish DFM/DFA/DFT best practices for scalable production

Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in advanced PCB design / electrical engineering
• Strong Cadence Allegro/OrCAD expertise
• Strong knowledge of high‑speed digital, RF routing, power design, and EMI/EMC
• Experience with PLM systems
• Proficiency in Python for engineering automation
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Exposure to AI/ML in engineering workflows
• Experience with DFM tools and manufacturing optimisation
• Familiarity with Altium, Siemens Xpedition, or KiCad
