Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a pricing-focused financial analyst to join our PBM Underwriting team in Colorado. You will build pricing strategies, perform large-scale Excel analyses, and present findings to executive leadership to support profitable contract offers for retail, mail order, and specialty pharmacy programs.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in financial analysis, pricing, or underwriting, strong Excel skills, and a Bachelor’s in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' financial analysis, pricing, or corporate underwriting experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel in complex data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with PBM Sales and Account Services to provide recommendations on pricing and negotiation strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets for new business growth and margin retention; and
• Applying advanced Excel modeling techniques to analyze large sets of pharmacy claims data and build forward looking financial forecasts and P&L statements; and
• Presenting financial analyses to Executive Leadership during Executive Underwriting Approval Calls and responding to financial questions in real-time; and
• Supporting Underwriting Managers and Sr. Managers with ad-hoc financial analyses and client implementation projects.
