Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a Payroll Tax Senior Analyst to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery, act as a subject matter expert, and drive continuous improvements across onshore and offshore teams. The role focuses on resolving escalations, ensuring SLAs, and maintaining compliance with local payroll practices and HR policies.

The position requires strong customer service and analytical skills, with experience in Workday, multi-state payroll, and benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Payroll Tax.
• Experience with Workday systems preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with enterprise-class payroll and services.
• CPP Certification or public certification in payroll advantageous.
• Spanish speaking and reading skills helpful.
• Experience processing large multi-state payroll including garnishments and banking.
• Familiarity with GL reporting and payroll controls.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of onshore and offshore resources within area of responsibility.
• Contribute to overall delivery of payroll processes and ensure SLAs are met or exceeded.
• Research and respond to client/vendor escalations and drive process improvements.
• Understand local payroll practices, regulations and reporting to deliver accurate pay.
• Train team members on new procedures and policies.
• Contribute to operational reporting and testing of tools and processes.
• Handle tasks outside primary responsibilities as required.
• Provide timely progress updates and resolutions to escalations.
• Diffuse irate customers and influence resolution across service lines.
• Support Puerto Rico HR Services; assist in benefits administration with 3rd party providers.
