Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sr. Payroll Tax Specialist to join our premier client team. You will partner with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll is processed in a timely manner in compliance with payroll laws and regulations.

The role requires multi-state payroll tax experience and hands-on work with Workday Payroll Tax setup, reviewing tax configurations, resolving notices, and driving accurate payroll tax operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of payroll tax experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with Workday Payroll Tax setup is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review Workday Payroll Tax setup for each legal entity and jurisdiction, identify issues and partner with Alight Tax Filing Services and HRIT to update and correct.
• Research and resolve payroll tax notices for multi-state tax entities; effectively resolve and escalate issues.
