Job summary

GHJ is seeking a Senior Specialist, Payroll to own day-to-day payroll execution and compensation administration. You will partner with PuzzleHR and Dayforce to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing across states and accurate tax handling.

The role requires solving complex payroll issues, ensuring compliance, and delivering a positive employee experience through precise payroll operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive payroll experience with Dayforce preferred.
• Experience managing end-to-end payroll processing across states.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax rules and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payrolls for ~300 employees and weekly payrolls for ~10 via Dayforce.
• Manage full payroll cycle: audits, calculations, previews, final submission and post-payroll validation.
• Review timekeeping, earnings, deductions and data prior to processing.
• Handle payroll changes, bonuses, retroactive pay and off-cycle payments.
