Job summary

SES Satellites in McLean, VA is seeking a Manager, Payroll Americas & LATAM to lead the payroll function for the Americas, including US, Brazil, Mexico, Canada and Colombia. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, taxes, benefits deductions and compliance across the region using SAP SuccessFactors and ADP Vantage.

The role requires 10+ years in payroll, deep US payroll knowledge, and experience coordinating with external providers. CPP preferred and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of payroll experience, mainly US, with Americas exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of US payroll taxes, 401(k), ACA, EEO/VETS/AAP.
• Experience with ADP Vantage and SAP SF interfaces.
• Ability to coordinate with external providers and vendors.
• Payroll accounting expertise required.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• CPP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate calculation and disbursement of US payroll for Americas.
• Manage year-end processing and W-2 finalization.
• Coordinate benefits contributions and third-party updates.
• Maintain correct pay codes and 401(k) limits.
• Validate data in ADP Vantage and SAP SF across interfaces.
• Process special payments (commissions, bonuses).
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local payroll laws.
• Prepare salary reports and IRS ACA information.
• Support HRIS, R&B, and Finance projects.
