Overview

An established government contractor is hiring a Senior Manager of Payroll to own payroll operations end to end for a growing, multi-entity organization.

Why this role stands out
  • You own the M&A payroll work. Primary point of contact for acquisition payroll, including payroll provider migration — experience that's hard to get and hard to replace.
  • Real complexity, not just volume. Multi-FEIN payroll, DCAA compliance, government contract requirements, and audit support. A genuine step up if you've outgrown straightforward processing.
  • A mandate to improve the function. You're expected to drive automation, strengthen controls, and lead system enhancements and integrations, not just run the cycle.
  • A leadership seat with a team to manage and develop, partnering closely with HR and Finance.

  • Payroll reporting, tax filings, and year-end statements
  • Off-cycle payrolls including terminations, resignations, and final PTO payouts

What you bring
