Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function, ensuring accurate, timely processing in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role partners with HR and Finance to improve processes and leverage technology for scalable growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, multi-location environment, with a focus on automation, data analytics, and delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state payroll.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience leading payroll professionals.
• Experience with enterprise HRIS and payroll systems; Dayforce experience preferred.
• Experience processing payroll for organizations with 2,000+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accurate and compliant processing.
• Establish payroll schedules, assign workloads, and oversee daily payroll operations.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate Payroll team members with a culture of accountability and customer service.
• Review, audit, and approve payroll prior to transmission.
• Oversee payroll tax reporting, garnishments, wage assignments, and year-end activities.
