Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll, accounting, or related experience required.
• Experience with garnishments, tax withholding, and payroll deductions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes court-ordered garnishments, child-support orders, levies, liens, and related payroll deductions.
• Reviews legal documents, updates payroll systems, calculates deduction amounts, and monitors orders for accuracy.
• Communicates with employees, courts, agencies, attorneys, and staff regarding garnishment requirements.
• Maintains confidential garnishment records and audit-ready documentation.
• Supports payroll processing, reporting, reconciliation, and issue resolution related to deductions and filings.
• Trains staff on payroll data operations and related processes.
