Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Director of Payroll to provide senior-level oversight of monthly payroll processes, audits, and adjustments. You will collaborate with the Assistant Finance Officer of Workforce Management & Payroll to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across all payroll activities.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, analyzing complex payroll data, managing direct deposits, and coordinating with HR and finance to maintain data integrity and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in payroll preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Lead, manage, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff/programs.
• Audit data integrity between HRIS and other payroll software.
• Oversee day-to-day payroll systems operations in collaboration with the compensation department.
• Process and administer electronic direct deposits and absence reporting.
• Maintain the payroll accounting system and support audits.
