Job Title: Senior Payroll Customer Success Manager

About the Role:

A fast-growing fintech company is seeking a Senior Payroll Customer Success Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related matters. This is a high-impact, hybrid role focused on both hands-on payroll support and strategic account management — with a unique opportunity to help build and scale a brand-new payroll support function from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as the go-to expert for all payroll-related questions across the business
• Deliver exceptional payroll support to customers (approximately 70% of the role)
• Manage and grow key customer relationships through proactive engagement and account oversight (approximately 30%)
• Identify areas to improve payroll processes and customer experience
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive customer satisfaction
• Play a foundational role in designing and building the payroll support team

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years of payroll experience (with payroll support experience being a strong advantage)
• Previous experience in a Customer Success Manager (CSM) role is preferred
• Background in customer service or customer experience is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• A proactive, collaborative approach and desire to help shape a growing function
