Job summary

Delta Dental Ins. seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to administer payroll operations and provide expert support to employees and management. The role ensures accurate, timely payroll while complying with regulations and collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities include bi-weekly payroll processing, reconciliations, and payroll system maintenance. You will support leaves, garnishments, year-end activities, and audits, with backup coverage for California operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing payroll, HR, finance, or related processing functions.
• Ability to report to the local office approximately 2-4 times per month.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Process and balance bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
• Reconcile payroll records and prepare cost analyses for Finance.
• Analyze payroll-related accounts and resolve variances.
• Coordinate third-party payments and payroll adjustments for leaves.
